Sep 21, 2014 Scratch Live crashing in internal and rel mode Special K Melb 11:31 AM - 19 September, 2014 I have been having issues with Scratch live, starting off with not being able to connect both sides in rel mode, could only get one side working, had to play internal on the other deck. When TRAKTOR 2’s mixing mode is set to External, the deck volume cannot be controlled with this unit. To use the SAMPLER VOL fader to adjust the volume of the TRAKTOR 2 decks, set the mixing mode to Internal. Connect the XDJ-RX and set MIDI CONTROL to ON, then connect the DJ software. When quitting, first quit the DJ software, then set the XDJ-RX to standby or unplug the USB cable. Connecting or disconnecting the USB cable while the DJ software is running could result in malfunction. The XDJ-RX is the perfect marriage of two USB-driven players, a 2-channel mixer, pad control, and a large screen with dual waveform display. Keep tracks playing muted during live edits such as loop, scratch or reverse. Release the jog wheel and the track comes back at exactly the right place. The channels are switchable between internal mode and line/phono inputs too. It’s at this point that I once again ponder the possibility of Rekordbox becoming a full standalone DJ software solution, as I can’t think why you’d want to plug turntables, let alone CDJs into this, if only because much of the appeal of the XDJ-RX is rendered.

Well i have set my sleep setting to never, and shut down setting to never, still having the problem. This is funny, i cant figure it out i played in my music room for a good three hours, but at the on set of everyting it stopped, I plugged my power cord out, i was running on about 95 percnet of power charge. Nothing happened, i played for three hours then, then i plugged my power pack in and continued playing without a shut down. but the day was also very cool even though my windows were locked ,the room was pretty cool. Yesterday Sunday the day was cool not as cool, it stopped, i analized some files, played again then it stopped, each time it stopps i can hear my fan on the comp working hard. i think the comp is overloaded, took it down and did a litt alertations, tried to blow the fan out. hooked up again, but this time i connecet the cdjs first to the laptop and not the sl2. i played into a good 20 mins without any interuption, didn't hear the fan working hard, as a matter of fact didnt hear the fan. But then the outside temp fell quickly, consequently the room was cooler than befor. But i am so frustrated with this, i dont know if these cdj pull a lot ot power or what. i will see if by pluggin in the cdjs first made the difference. Or i have to get an extra fan on the subject while playing.
